Tumblr is the home to some of the most visually intriguing and hilarious imagery in the known universe. You’re bound to want to share it with your friends that aren’t on Tumblr (yet). But maybe you don’t want to share the entire post and you just want to share the picture.

The old way to do this was to right click an image, get the link to the image, and then paste it somewhere else. This isn’t fun as it means if someone else likes it, wants to see more of it, or wants to know where it came from, they don’t have any of that info.

Finally there’s a better way. We now have image permalinks.

There are two ways to get to an image permalink. You can either click on a photo on a blog and it’ll take you to the image page, or you can replace the word “/post/” with “/image/” in the permalink.

Cool, right?

Now, when you post that picture somewhere else, your friends can not only see how awesome you are for sharing things, but they can also see where a post came from, Like the image, or even reblog it to their blog.

Ever since I first heard about this in my local newscast I was all for it. This is a message that needs to be sent.

I’ve heard of this, and wasn’t sure if I wanted to see it, but watching the preview, i am crying.

This movie was rated R by the MPAA.

Weird, right? Considering the people who need to see this film are mainly under 18.

My friends and many other people have started petitions to lower the rating.

((I wouldn’t normally reblog unrelated things, but this hit home. There were tears in my eyes, and that doesn’t happen often. I’m 18. I’ve been in education since 3, that’s 15 years. I’m in my first year of college and this is the first year I haven’t been bullied. I’ve been called everything, been pushed, punched, kicked, spat at, I’ve almost had my waist length hair cut off, I’ve been attacked by a group of thirty, had glass bottles thrown at me… This film won’t come out in the UK, but I urge all my American followers to see it.))

Jesus, I think everyone has been teased and taunted at so many times and most continues to something far worse then that. I completely understand how this kid feels, I went through a same transition, new school, no friends to help me. It’s scary, and your mostly on your own. Later, I made friends, and we have continued that friendship up to my first year of high school. Many kids don’t have the chance to reach that age and seeing this makes everyone realize just how much of a problem it is. Please, reblog, reblog, reblog.
